Let our professionals guide you in addressing your mental health needs.

These are some of the frequently asked questions we receive about our services. Should you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch with us through our hotline.

What Is Tele-Psychiatry?

Tele-psychiatry or virtual psychiatry is the delivery of psychiatric care services over the internet through secure 2-way live video or telephone calls.

Why Should I See an Online PMHNP?

There are many benefits to seeing a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner online. There’s no need to leave your house because you meet your provider online. Avoid the long commute, traffic, and parking costs associated with an office visit. There’s no need to take time off work because virtual visits are available evenings and weekends.

Since visits are conducted from your home or office, no more time is spent in crowded waiting rooms.

What Do You Expect During a Virtual Visit?

A virtual visit is no different than an office visit, except it’s more convenient since you are seen by a provider from any location. Your provider will assess your symptoms and will ask about your medical history. Your treatment plan can include diagnosis, appropriate referrals, or prescribed medications, if necessary.

Your provider may refer you to a counselor for extensive talk therapy. Prescriptions are sent electronically to the nearest pharmacy of your choice.
